Hey everyone, I've been delinquent in updating this site and am working on it currently, but for anyone looking for improv and sketch shows/classes information, you can find me performing and teaching at Dojo Comedy and with performing with my sketch team Brick Penguin. I hope to have this site updated and running better soon, thanks for your patience!

My Comedy Bio
I discovered I wanted to do comedy in 2005 when I was a 19-year-old college freshman and have chased laughter since then. I started in standup and have been lucky enough to open for some big comics like Mike Birbiglia and John Mullaney. My main focus has been improv and sketch and I've completed the training programs at the Upright Citizen's Brigade Theater (UCB) and the People's Improv Theater (The PIT) in New York as well as earning a degree in English (with a focus on screenwriting) from Georgetown University. Further, I've also taken various improv and sketch workshops with instructors from around the country and perform both improv and sketch regularly, predominantly at Dojo Comedy and with my sketch group Brick Penguin. I have been teaching improv and sketch since 2008, have had over 800 students, and I love doing it. I believe that comedy can be personal and universal and what bridges the gap between your sense of humor and everyone else's is the truth in what you say as it relates to others. NERD ALERT!
About Me Outside of Comedy
I'm an improviser with an English degree, a lifelong DC Football fan, a born and raised D.C. native, an avid fisherman, and a general pursuer of a menagerie of activities including blacksmithing/metal work, container gardening, close up magic, old gambling stories, DC sports, fishing, film, and screenwriting. If you like what I have to say, feel free to tell me, and if you disagree with me, I've been wrong before and would love to learn how I'm wrong again. Finally, if you want to hire me to do something else, let me know on the Book Me page. Thanks for reading and enjoy.
